Creative at heart, inspired by colour in all things and Mother Nature, beaches are my journey and destination in life. Let me set the scene...

 

The anticipation of a long road trip builds as you get that first wiff of salty air or teasing glimpse of sapphire blue before taking the final crest or bend and having the beauty and myriad of azure, aqua, and crystal blues of the ocean presented to you in all their glory. The vision causes the involuntary bodily reactions of the eyes to widen their gaze to drink it all in, capturing the excitement at a cellular level, the shoulders drop into a relax stance and the audible sigh '...aaaaah'  escapes before you've had time to formally articulate it. I wonder if you can relate?

 

This website is primarily a collection of personal images of beaches I've visited and happy snapped with simple camera equipment or my smartphone. Each image is accompanied by my personal experiences with each unique location, usually somewhere on the West coast of Australia. In addition, to assist my future travel aspirations abroad, I have scoured the web to bring together a bunch of other images to build my 'bucket list' of beaches. (Of course these will be referenced accordingly!)

 

In addition to the above and to balance the borrowed wonderment and aesthetics of  Mother Natures fine works, I invite you to view my own works. Creativity is in us all, but expressed in different ways, of late, mine is through drawing and painting, and often, you guessed it - beaches are the theme! I am thoroughly immersed in the Instagram community of sketchers and upload my work and follow some other wonderfully talented artists.

 

Finally, to reflect my life thus far, I also offer a collection of quotes I tend find meaningful. We all come from unique families, regions, life experiences and expectations. This may serve to shape your picture of me, as one of those unique individuals.
